You would not know if an idea is viable unless you have invested in it

Startups create economic activity and jobs. They also act as learning centers for students to gain real world experience. Students come up with lots of ideas all the time. Most ideas go through an evolutionary process before becoming a really good business idea. Challenge is that supporting startup ideas is a resource-intensive process and it is hard to support every idea at an early stage.

Would it not be great if we could support all the ideas up to a certain level of maturity, before investing more valuable intellectual and financial capital?
